Have Camera - Will Travel...

Have you ever noticed the change a person makes when they are finally at home in their happy place? It’s amazing, like a light switch goes off, stress melts away, time slows down, colors are brighter, laughter is louder and for that moment in time they find their contentment.

That is my favorite time to take pictures, because at that moment; photography is fun, its easy. Simply point the camera, click and poof – instant great photo. All because the subject of your image is enjoying life at its maximum – no additional steps required, their expression, body language even their clothing is perfect, just as it is.

That was the case in the image featured in today’s Featured Friday Foto. This gentleman is a family friend of ours. He is a very hard-working family man who goes out of his way to take care of everyone around him – regardless of time required or expense.

The recipe for this man’s happy place required just four simple elements:

1) Family

2) Lake

3) Boat

4) Weekend (Time)

Wrangle the family, add gas to the boat, start the engine and move from a slow pace increasing speed continuously until hair is blowing – bake under 85-degree sun for 45 minutes.
